Don’t want to care for your orchid while it is not blooming?
Most varieties of orchids bloom once a year, the flowers lasting from two to three months. Orchids that don’t receive the proper balance of light and humidity in a home setting can be difficult to re-bloom. For those orchid owners who prefer to enjoy their orchids in bloom and not worry about their care during their growing season, we offer a plant-sitting and maintenance service that we call “boarding”.
We provide complete care for your plants, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control in our climate-controlled greenhouses until they bloom again or until you choose to pick them up.

Please note: We cannot guarantee the survival of plants that arrive in a seriously weakened condition. We reserve the right to refuse to board any plants that show any signs of disease, insects or other health issues. We will do our best to care for any injured or sick plants, however, you should be aware that not every plant can be saved.
Pricing Per Plant
Standard size plants - $2.50/month
Larger specimens (larger than 12” in any direction) - $3.50/month
Bonsai - $5.00/month minimum
Repotting - varies depending on size but usually $5 - $10 per plant
You will receive a recurring Monthly Invoice sent to your email, which will include the following information:
The list of your plants currently being boarded
Up to date status for each plant
Unique IDs, plant descriptions, dates, and notes on health and history for each plant
Cost per plant
Easy online payment
You will be charged the monthly fee only when the plant is in the greenhouse. The fee will be paused for each plant when it leaves our greenhouses until it comes back. If you do not pick up your blooming orchid, you will continue to pay the monthly fee, with a new starting service date.
Minimum boarding charge - $15 per plant
Maximum boarding charge - $30 per plant
If a healthy orchid dies while under our care, we will issue you a credit memo of:
$15 if it was here longer than 8 months
Your cost invested minus $5, if it was here less than 8 months
If a plant is here for 12 months or more without blooming, you can choose to give it up and we will issue you a $15 credit towards the purchase of another orchid.
You can choose to take any plant out of your “inventory” at any time if you feel it is not returning your investment of maturing or blooming. Please keep in mind that a healthy orchid usually blooms just once per year, and if taken care of properly, it should live for many years.
We must have a 30 day notice of any plant that you want to take out of inventory.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Renting Bench Space
Bring your plants in to be cared for. And pick up any that you want to take home. This is your own bench space in our greenhouses.
¼ Bench (12.5 square feet) $40/month
½ Bench (25 square feet) $75/month
¾ Bench (37.5 square feet) $105/month
Full bench (50 square feet) $130/month
Trade in Program
For customers who prefer not to board their plants, we also offer orchid trade-ins. If your orchid is in good condition and it was purchased from us, you may choose another plant at a 10% discount.
